A grant from the Chewing Gum Task Force, administered by the environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy, will support Surrey Heath Borough Council cleaning up discarded chewing gum and reducing gum littering in the borough in partnership with our waste collection, recycling and street cleaning contractor, Joint Waste Solutions.

Surrey Heath Borough Council has approved additional funding to make the presence of Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) at Camberley Theatre safe for theatregoers and staff for years ahead.

Improvement works will take place at a number of car parks in Surrey Heath to improve the facilities and enhance safety.

A health and wellbeing event will take place at the Ping Pong Parlour (opposite Boots) in The Square shopping centre on Tuesday 6 August 2024 from 10am to 4pm.

Surrey Heath Borough Council is celebrating after receiving FIVE Green Flag Awards for our parks and green spaces across the Borough.

This further increases the number of parks in Surrey Heath which have achieved this international mark of quality and excellence.
