At the Full Council Meeting of Surrey Heath Borough Council on 19 February, Members set the budget and Council Tax for 2025/26.

A new anti-social behaviour policy is set to be adopted at the upcoming Executive meeting of Surrey Heath Borough Council.

The council Executive will meet on 11 February to agree the Medium Term Financial Strategy, Revenue Budget, and council tax level for 2025-26 that they will recommend to Full Council.

Cllr Shaun Macdonald, Leader of Surrey Heath Borough Council, has shared a foreword to the statement from the Surrey Leaders Group on the local government reorganisation agenda and local elections in Surrey.

In 2016, Surrey Heath Borough Council acquired the Former House of Fraser building when it was fully occupied by House of Fraser, Caffé Nero and NatWest. Over time, all but NatWest chose to vacate the building.

While the property boasts many strong attributes for future use, redevelopment at this time would involve significant cost to the council.

Decisions will be made on the council support offered to local community and voluntary organisations in the upcoming Executive meeting.

The council Executive is being recommended to approve changes to the CCTV provision in Camberley, which will offer an improved service while making cost savings.
