The Fast Track Planning Service will speed up the process for people who opt for this service, providing applicants with a decision in just five weeks, compared with the standard eight weeks. This additional paid-for service will be offered to applicants when they first submit their planning application for determination.

SHBC’s Economic Development Strategy 2023-28 was agreed by the Executive on 14 March 2023. The strategy provides an ambitious road map for good growth and prosperity of the local economy from 2023 to 2028. Surrey Heath Borough Council is working hard to ensure your council tax is spent effectively. As with all similar councils in the UK, our costs have increased this year due to rising inflation, reductions in funding from partners and an increase in demand for our services.

On Thursday 23 February, we are once again partnering with The Square shopping centre in Camberley to bring you a Cost of Living Event, which will provide practical support and information.
