Surrey Heath Borough Council are delighted that several independent businesses within The Square shopping centre have recently renewed their leases demonstrating their commitment to trading in Camberley. 

The winning design for the new playground at Albert Road, Bagshot has been chosen. After a public vote on a shortlist of five potential designs, the winner was the Wicksteed design. Work on the new playground is due to start in March 2024.

Surrey Heath Borough Council’s draft Council Strategy 2024-2028, “Delivering for you and a fairer society”,  sets a clear direction and overall priorities for the organisation over the next 4 years , drawing on the wider aspirations and priorities of local residents and stakeholders, and has been developed for the new Council, following elections in May and June 2023.

Surrey Heath Borough Council is taking another significant step towards achieving its commitment to becoming net zero by introducing photovoltaic (PV) solar panels at Places Leisure Camberley, the borough’s flagship Leisure Centre.

In a strategic move to support vital community initiatives, Surrey Heath Borough Council has recommended approval of the allocation of revenue grants for 2024-25.

This funding will enable key local organisations to deliver essential services to those in greatest need.

Surrey Heath Borough Council is seeking agreement to consult on a Draft List of Local Heritage Assets (known as a Local List).
