The winners of the 2024 Surrey Heath Sports Awards have been announced.
The awards celebrate the achievements of local coaches, volunteers, athletes and community
groups, who have gone above and beyond in their performances, dedication and commitment
to sport and physical activity.

Camberley town centre has received a major boost with £1,480,300 awarded by HM Government through the Brownfield Land Release Fund (BLRF2), part of the One Public Estate Programme.
This funding will support new housing development on the London Road site, located next to the A30 in the heart of Camberley.
The Royal British Legion Remembrance Parade in Camberley, with the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, along with local cadet and uniformed groups, will take place on Sunday, 10 November 2024, at 3pm.
A flag raising ceremony took place on Wednesday 25 September 2024 outside Surrey Heath House in recognition of our Armed Forces.
The flag raising followed a meeting with our military and community partners to review the Council's Armed Forces Covenant Action plan, which details how we support our Armed Forces community in the Borough.
The Intersex Progressive Pride flag was raised outside Surrey Heath House on Friday 6 September. This event celebrates Surrey Heath’s diversity and individuality across the Borough and shows support for our LGBTQ+ Community.
A grant from the Chewing Gum Task Force, administered by the environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy, will support Surrey Heath Borough Council cleaning up discarded chewing gum and reducing gum littering in the borough in partnership with our waste collection, recycling and street cleaning contractor, Joint Waste Solutions.
