Surrey Heath’s new Mayor joined members of the local community at a free tennis event at a sunny Watchetts Recreation Ground at the weekend. 

At its recent meeting, the Executive of Surrey Heath Borough Council approved the sale of Woodend Road Car Park in Deepcut, to support discretionary services provision. 

New dual-purpose litter and recycling bins have been installed across Surrey Heath, supporting our commitment to increasing recycling and protecting the local environment. 

Cllr Louise Ashbery was chosen as the 53rd Mayor of Surrey Heath at the Annual Meeting of Surrey Heath Borough Council on Wednesday 14 May 2025.

A proposal to upgrade waste facilities in the borough will be discussed at the upcoming Executive meeting of Surrey Heath Borough Council.
