There is a charge to request a tree protection check.

Fees

How and when to pay

To request a chargeable tree protection check, you must complete the general enquiries form.

On receipt of payment, we will normally respond within 7 days, unless otherwise stated. If the enquiry takes longer to respond to, we will contact you to explain the reason.

Important information

Before requesting a tree protection check, you should be aware of the following:

• there is no charge if you only require a copy of a Tree Preservation Order, to request a copy of a Tree Preservation Order, email trees@surreyheath.gov.uk
• this service only provides copies of information by return email
• if you require paper copies, further charges will apply

Refunds and response times

For significant delays, refunds will not be given automatically. Each request will be considered on its own merits.

Any request relating to refunds must be made in writing to development control.
