How and when to pay
Pay a local authority search fee
When making a payment, select the option for land charges search fees.
Important information
Before requesting a local authority search, you should be aware of the following:
- VAT applies to CON29 and CON29O products, costs above include VAT where relevant
- highway-related additional enquiries should be sent directly to Surrey County Council
- search requests must include the correct fee to be accepted for processing
Cancellations and refunds
If a search request has been submitted and accepted as valid, it cannot be cancelled and the fee will not be refunded.
If your search has been submitted through NLIS, you should contact your channel provider promptly.
