Surrey Heath Borough Council (SHBC) is aware of an unauthorised encampment on Surrey County Council land in front of the Four Horseshoes Pub, Windsor Road, Chobham.

The Queen's Green Canopy (QGC) is a unique tree planting initiative inviting people from across the United Kingdom to "Plant a Tree for the Jubilee". As well as inviting the planting of new trees, The Queen's Green Canopy will dedicate a network of 70 Ancient Woodlands across the United Kingdom and identify 70 Ancient Trees to celebrate Her Majesty's 70 years of service.  

In Surrey Heath we have placed Jubilee trees in Camberley High Street to mark the occasion.  

A total of almost £200,000 has been allocated in Surrey Heath via the Household Support Fund.

A by-election took place to elect a councillor for Bisley & West End borough ward on Thursday, 14 April 2022.

The Miss Gomm’s Trust is seeking to appoint two trustees who will be able to assume responsibility for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity for a four year period.

Surrey Heath Borough Council has received confirmation that to date 50 households in the Borough will be hosting Ukrainians as part of the Homes for Ukraine Scheme, and has prioritised those with guests arriving imminently.  

Fortnightly garden waste collections will restart in Surrey Heath next month.
