Tree Planting

Tree-mendous news on record planting figures 

Surrey Heath Borough Council planted a record number of 6,000 trees last year. 
Supported by Surrey Heath Tree Wardens (SHTW), the council achieved its target of planting 6,000 trees from April 2024-March 2025.   
This is 1,000 trees more than the previous year’s total of 5,000, an increase of 20%.

London Road Block, Camberley – Asbestos removal and demolition works

The Council’s appointed contractor R Collard Ltd will be arriving on site on Tuesday 1 July 2025 to prepare for the asbestos removal and demolition works on the London Road Block site in Camberley town centre. The works are due to complete Spring 2026.
