Leaders from eight Surrey district and borough councils have responded to the Government’s decision to replace the current 12 councils with two new unitary authorities.

Surrey Heath Borough Council has passed a cross-party motion reaffirming its commitment to unity, respect and community cohesion.

Surrey Heath Borough Council Executive has approved an extension to its existing grounds maintenance contract to help guarantee continuity of service for residents into the planned new unitary structure.
