A flag-raising ceremony held by Surrey Heath Borough Council is one of a number of events across the borough marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day. 

Surrey Heath Borough Council has confirmed its support for a three-unitary authority structure ahead of the final Local Government Reorganisation Plan being submitted to government on 9 May.

Camberley town centre received £1,480,300 in September 2024 from HM Government through the Brownfield Land Release Fund (BLRF2), part of the One Public Estate Programme.  This funding will support a new residential development on the London Road site, located next to the A30 in the heart of Camberley.
