How we look after our parks and greenspaces.
Our parks and greenspaces are maintained by Glendale (external website).
Glendale were awarded the Surrey Heath Grounds Maintenance contract which commenced on the 1 November 2020. The contract is for five years with an option to extend for a further two years.
The contract covers the maintenance of all the major parks and open spaces, public toilets, 3G and grass sports pitch maintenance as well as the maintenance of all of tennis courts, cricket squares, play areas, outdoor gyms and skateparks.
The contract covers the follow tasks:
- grounds man service at Frimley Lodge Park and Lightwater Country Park
- play Area inspections and maintenance
- grass cutting
- shrub and vegetation maintenance
- tennis court maintenance
- 3G and grass pitch maintenance
- fine turf and golf course maintenance
- bin emptying and litter picking
- pavilion and public toilet cleaning
