We are now entering Phase 3 of the Community Governance Review (CGR). This stage sets out the council’s draft recommendations and gives residents the opportunity to comment before any final decisions are made.

The review looks at parish and community arrangements across the borough to ensure they continue to reflect local identity and provide effective governance.

The draft recommendations are:

  • Unparished areas – No changes proposed.
  • Bisley, Chobham and West End – Minor changes proposed.  
  • Bagshot & Lightwater – Propose a combined parish to remain without Windlesham village.
  • Windlesham – Propose a new separate parish council for Windlesham

Residents can view the full recommendations for each area and share their views via an online consultation. Your feedback is important and will help shape the final outcome of the review.
