Consultation information

As part of the Local Plan Review 2040, we are seeking views on the following documents:

• Local Plan Review Scoping Consultation document: This seeks views on what matters the Local Plan Review should address.
• Draft Local Plan Engagement Strategy: This seeks views on how we can engage with you in preparing the Local Plan Review

You can read the formal Notice of Scoping Consultation below. This sets out that hard copies of the consultation documents can be viewed at the Council offices and libraries across the Borough.

How to have your say

The consultation documents and information on how to respond can be found on our online consultation portal. 

Results

The comments received to the scoping document, along with technical evidence that is being prepared will help to inform the next stage of the Local Plan Review including the future priorities, draft vision and local plan review content. Comments on the draft Engagement Strategy will be used to prepare a final version which will be published on the LPR website. 

A summary of the Scoping Consultation will be published setting out who was invited to comment, how they were invited to comment, the main issues raised in the comments received and how the Council has had regard to those.
