Statement of Community Involvement

The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 requires local planning authorities to prepare a 'Statement of Community Involvement'.

The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) is the Council's commitment to consulting the community on planning issues including the Local Plan, neighbourhood plans and planning applications.

The updated SCI was adopted by the Council’s Executive on 20th October 2020.
