Gateway assessments
There are three statutory Gateway Assessments during the preparation of the Local Plan Review.
These are assessments of the local plan work undertaken so far before moving to the next stage.
Gateway 1 is undertaken by the Borough Council and marks the formal start of the 30 month plan-making process.
Gateways 2 and 3 are independent assessments, likely to be undertaken by the Planning Inspectorate.
