Enduring commitment to Armed Forces confirmed by Council

Surrey Heath Borough Council’s Armed Forces Champion, Councillor Leanne MacIntyre signed the Armed Forces Covenant on Wednesday 20 March 2024, witnessed by Captain Kumar Purja Pun, Royal Gurkha Rifles (RGR) and Marie Watts from The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

The Workshop

Further funding secured for The Workshop

The Workshop, located in The Square shopping centre in Camberley, has been successful in securing funding from the Department of Work and Pensions Flexible Support Fund to continue for another year until 1 April 2025.

Camberley Theatre to reopen to customers

Camberley Theatre will officially reopen on Monday 6 May 2024 following building inspection works, with a full programme of shows and performances taking place between then and the end of July confirmed.

We are aware of an unauthorised encampment at Chobham Water Meadows. We have visited the site and working with the relevant agencies to resolve this situation as soon as possible using the most appropriate powers available to us.
