Approval is being sought at the council’s upcoming Executive meeting to increase Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) tariffs for environmental crime offences. 

A decision will be made on a local community project grant bid totalling £5,000 at the upcoming Executive meeting.

The Council is planning to replace its existing parking service vehicles with environmentally friendly electric versions, in line with its net zero strategy.

The Workshop, located in The Square shopping centre in Camberley, has been successful in securing funding from the Department of Work and Pensions Flexible Support Fund to continue for another year until 1 April 2025.

Camberley Theatre will officially reopen on Monday 6 May 2024 following building inspection works, with a full programme of shows and performances taking place between then and the end of July confirmed. 

We are aware of an unauthorised encampment at Chobham Water Meadows. We have visited the site and working with the relevant agencies to resolve this situation as soon as possible using the most appropriate powers available to us.
