Frimley Lodge Park – proposed improvements

Frimley Lodge Park

We’re pleased to share that Surrey Heath Borough Council is proposing a significant upgrade to the main car park at Frimley Lodge Park funded through the Community Infrastructure Levy. As one of the Borough’s busiest and most valued greenspaces - and a location that offers free parking - the park requires improvements to ensure it continues to meet growing visitor demand. These proposals are subject to planning approval; if granted, works will begin in summer 2026 and continue in phases to keep the park open throughout, with some unavoidable disruption.

These improvements will include:

  • New and improved road and parking surfaces
  • Additional parking bays
  • New EV charging points

Subject to planning permission, work is expected to begin this summer and will take around six months to complete. The project will be phased, so access to the park will remain open throughout.
