From 1 October the public toilets at the following locations will be closed:
- Knoll Road, Camberley
- Church Road, Frimley
- Sturt Road, Frimley Green
- Park Road, Bagshot.
The nearest alternative facilities can be found at toiletmap.org.uk
Also from 1 October, the pedestrian gates and vehicle access gates will remain open at the following parks and SANGs. The height barriers will remain closed at all sites.
- Watchetts Recreation Ground
- Crabtree Recreation Ground
- Frimley Green Recreation Ground
- Mytchett Recreation Ground
- Watchmoor Reserve
- Windlemere SANG.
At London Road Recreation Ground, Camberley, the pedestrian gates will remain open but the vehicle gates will remain locked at all times.
Details of both of these planned changes were included in the Transformation report that went to the August 19 Executive meeting.
This report outlined the savings that need to be made by the council in light of the significant financial challenges faced, with every effort being made to minimise the impact on residents and communities.
