Surrey Heath Borough Council is pleased to announce the reinstatement of free dog waste bags at dispensing stations across the borough, following a new agreement with Eco Living Communities (part of the CP Media Group).
This positive development comes after a period of disruption in the availability of the dog poo bags at the stations, which are an important resource for responsible pet ownership and maintaining clean public spaces. Thanks to the new arrangement, Eco Living Communities will oversee the replenishment of the dog waste bag dispensing stations at no cost to the council, ensuring that residents and visitors have access to free emergency dog waste bags once again.
“This is an excellent outcome for the local community,” said Councillor Morgan Rise, Portfolio Holder for Environment & Recreation. “We know how important these stations are to dog owners and keeping our parks, streets, and green spaces clean and welcoming for everyone. We’re delighted to have reached a solution that benefits both residents and the environment.”
The Council encourages all dog owners to continue using the stations responsibly and only use when you forget your bags. Keep Surrey Heath clean by disposing your dog’s waste in the bins provided, remember any waste bin will do.
