Lightwater Country Park

Overall grade

Walk routes are not suitable for wheelchair users.

The main walking routes are uneven with tree roots and slopes. The first pond is wheelchair accessible for duck feeding and there are plenty of birds to watch.

Surface

On the main heathland trails are soil and gravel with steps in places.     

Paths can become heavy and wet following wet weather.  

Parking

No high sided vehicle parking due to 2m height barrier at entrance.

Toilets

Toilets and café at the park have a sloped entrance. It can be tight for space.

There is no adult hoist or changing bed in the disabled toilet.
