We recognise the importance of a good work-life balance and want to make sure all our staff feel supported both in and outside of the workplace. To help with this we have a number of schemes in place. Hybrid working Most roles are now hybrid. This means that some days are spent working from the office and others are spent working at home. Flexitime Most employees are eligible for flexitime. This gives our employees a measure of control over when they work their standard hours each day and can be used to build up time to take back. This is subject to service needs. Flexible working Employees at the Council have the opportunity to apply for flexible working. Depending on the role and individual, this can include working part time, job sharing, condensed hours and time off to care for dependants.
