Housing support and schemes

We work with partners to provide housing and support for those who have additional needs. 

Independent living schemes 

This is aimed at older people. The scheme provides people with a home that has access to on site support if they need it.

Supported housing schemes 

In addition to somewhere to live, support is provided to help people live as independently as possible.

Move on scheme 

This is aimed at people with low and medium level needs who need support due to a lack of suitable accommodation in their areas.

Floating support services

This helps people who may need extra support to live independently.

Housing associations adapted properties 

Housing associations have some adapted and purpose-built properties for people with physical disabilities.

Disabled Facilities Grant 

This helps people adapt their current home to suit their needs.
