As we mark 80 years since the end of World War II (8 May) the exhibition looks back at the changes in daily
life, how a community came together and the lasting effects. Alongside our World War II collection, there are recordings and videos of personal memories, a Camberley soldier’s letters home from 1944 to 45 and photographic record of one of the early military advancements after D-Day to free the city of Caen (Operation Epsom).

Opening hours

Surrey Heath Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11am until 4:30pm.

Exhibition talk

An exhibition talk will take place with Senior Heritage Officer, Gill Riding on 16 July from 6 until 7:30pm. There is a £3.60 charge to attend.
