Local Government in Surrey is changing
From April 2027, the existing county council and 11 district and borough councils will be replaced by two new unitary councils.
Don’t lose your vote! Check your voter registration details.
The annual canvass allows Surrey Heath Borough Council to keep the electoral register up to date, to identify who risks losing their voice at elections, and to encourage them to register before it’s too late.
To make sure you don’t lose your say, look out for your annual canvass letter and follow the instructions included.
