Cllr Betton has chosen two charities which support local residents during his Mayoral term:

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care

Phyllis Tuckwell is the only Hospice Care service for adult patients, and their families, living with cancer or another terminal illness (such as heart, lung or neurological disease) across the whole of West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire.

Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund

Chloe's and Sophie's Special Ears Fund aims to 'brighten the lives of deaf children'. Their main objectives are to raise deaf awareness; enhance the sound acoustics in classrooms and school halls for deaf children in mainstream schools through specialist equipment and materials, as well as to provide resources and equipment to deaf children to support their emotional wellbeing.
