Surrey Heath Borough Council will discuss options for Camberley’s former House of Fraser building on Tuesday 13 February 2024.

Surrey Heath Borough Council is seeking to update several of its discretionary grant schemes to ensure they are achieving the greatest positive impact in the community.

Successful campaigning from Surrey Heath Borough Council in 2023 has led to Thames Water issuing an apology for the foul odour over the summer from sewage sludge keep at Camberley Sewage Works.

The Surrey Heath Youth Council (SHYC) has been relaunched with new partner, children and young people's charity Learning Space. It will offer an effective way for young people to have a direct voice into the Council, and have a say on issues that affect them.

The winning design for the new playground at Albert Road, Bagshot has been chosen. After a public vote on a shortlist of five potential designs, the winner was the Wicksteed design. Work on the new playground is due to start in March 2024.
