The Get Active 50+ programme run by Surrey Heath Borough Council in partnership with Active Surrey and the Surrey County Council Public Health team has now concluded
The programme which was designed to include attractive activities for both men and women was hugely successful and surpassed targets by engaging 182 more Surrey Heath residents into sport and physical activity! Thank you to our partners for hosting these sessions and helping to keep Surrey Heath residents fit and healthy.

Our vibrant and friendly bowls clubs across Surrey Heath are extremely welcoming to new players and offer beginner classes for those new to the game. Clubs include Camberley, Camberley Indoor, Mytchett, Old Dean, West End and Windlesham Bowls Clubs. For contact details please see our Leisure Directory.
Farnborough Fins are providing adult learn to swim classes. The classes are made up of a small groups so that everyone can learn a great skill whilst also meeting new people in a comfortable and supportive environment. Dance and Exercise
Dance and Exercise classes are being coordinated and run by Surrey Adult Learning for a social and inclusive method of improving and maintaining health and fitness. Classes are inclusive for all ages and abilities and are taking place in both Camberley and Chobham. Maybe some 50+ Pilates is more your thing? You can take part in small group classes specifically for those over 50 with BActive Pilates. All classes have a maximum of 6 participants and aim to help improve coordination, core strength and mobility.
