Lightwater Country Park Café and Information Point
Following the latest government guidance, the Cafe will be reopening for takeaway from 4 July with the opening hours of 10am - 4pm, 7 days a week. Find out more about the café and information point.
The Playground at Lightwater Country Park will also be reopening on 4 July. Social distancing and other hygiene guidance applies.
The adventure playground is suitable for children aged from toddlers to twelve year olds. Play equipment includes swings, rope trails, balancing beams and a four metre high space net.
Enjoy one of the marked trails within the Country Park. The Country Park regularly have grazing goats. They are on loan from the Surrey Wildlife Trust as part of our conservation works. The goats graze on the gorse and scrub to help maintain the open nature of the heathland and its associated wildlife. Weusually have around 20 goats from around April until July.
Watch out for updates and events about the goats which will be on the bulletin board outside the café.
Day ticket fishing is available at Lightwater Country Park during the fishing season. Fishing sessions for young people will be running through the summer holidays. A valid Environment Agency rod licence is required.
