Business details:

Mytchett Athletic FC was founded in 1971 and now boasts more than 20 teams, plus younger players at U5s and U6s. The aim of the club is to promote football in the local community to both boys and girls. Our club motto is “Progress” with an emphasis on fun and good sportsmanship.

We play organised league matches for Under 7s through to Under 18s. We also have teams at U21s, Open Age Adults and Seniors. We conduct training sessions for all the age groups including children from 4 years of age. We have often been praised by the other teams we play for fairness and good atmosphere.

Equal Opportunities

We are committed to equal opportunities for all in our club and have a working relationship with both the Surrey and Hampshire Police in terms of child protection issues.

Mytchett Athletic Football Club is affiliated to the Surrey Football Association. For 2014/15 the affiliation numbers are as follows.

SEN/Disability Teams

In 2010 MAFC started two Special Education Needs / Disability teams at U12s & U16s, with age ranges from 7 – 16. This has taken off very well with excellent support from Surrey FA. The teams have played in County SEN/Disability competitions and is going down a storm. For more information please email Tony Hutt at

We run two annual Tournaments at MAFC. The Christmas tournament is just for the boys and girls of Mytchett Athletic from U8s to U13s. Our May Bank Holiday tournament is open to all registered football clubs and is held in high esteem, where teams return year after year to compete against each other. The May tournament is our main fundraising event of the year but we are also committed to the local community and join in with local schools to help raise funds for not only Mytchett Athletic Football Club but the local community as well.
