The Royal British Legion Remembrance Parade with the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) and local cadet and uniformed groups is taking place this Sunday.

The parade will pay respects to those involved in the First and Second World Wars as well as more recent conflicts.

After the parade wreaths will be laid at the War Memorial outside the entrance to the RMAS by the Mayor of Surrey Heath, Cllr Helen Whitcroft, Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, Councillor Alan McClafferty, Leader, Surrey Heath Borough Council, representatives from the Royal British Legion and military personnel.

Councillor Adrian Page, Military Champion SHBC said;

“Please support the parade on Sunday at 3pm by lining the route from St Michael’s Church up the London Road to the War Memorial outside the Royal Military Academy.

Surrey Heath is fortunate to have a long military heritage of which we are very proud and it is our honour to commemorate such an important occasion.

The RMAS will command a parade of veterans, local cadet and community groups.  Many thanks also to Churches Together in Camberley for their support in these commemorations.”
