Winning playground design announced for Loman Road, Mytchett

The winning design for the new playground at Loman Road in Mytchett has been announced. 
 
After a public vote on a shortlist of three potential designs, the winner was the HAGS design. 
 
The exciting new facility will feature new swings including a viper rope swing, a pyramid net, toddler multiplay, balance beams, roty roundabout, seesaw and springers. 
 
Work on the new playground is due to start early in the new year. 
 
The playground at Loman Road is being refurbished as part of Phase One of the Borough-wide Playground Improvement Scheme. Other playgrounds due to be refurbished include Chobham Road Recreation Ground, Frimley and London Road Recreation Ground, Camberley.
