After a two-year hiatus, the Surrey Heath Show is returning to Frimley Lodge Park on Saturday 14 May.
For the first time in the show's history, the event will incorporate a boating spectacle along the adjacent Basingstoke Canal, coordinated by the Basingstoke Canal Society as part of the Canal's delayed 30th anniversary celebrations. This year's show will also introduce an updated layout, new places to eat and drink, a number of new stalls and a fancy dress dog parade which will be organised by Next Chapter Animal Rescue.
Complimenting the new attractions, a number of show favourites will make their return including the ever-popular Classic Car Show and the Show Arena, showcasing the best in local community entertainment.
If that wasn’t enough there will be fairground rides, inflatables and Punch and Judy performances. Surrey Fire and Rescue will also be there with a fire engine or two.
Visitors can explore the park by taking a ride on the miniature railway, and if you see the show's mascot Spike The Hedgehog, be sure to say hello!
Launched by passionate volunteers back in 2007, the Surrey Heath Show exists to raise money and awareness for local good causes. Each year the Show distributes profits to local charities and community groups.
The 2022 Show is sponsored by Active Print Services, Camberley Manor, Specsavers Camberley, Sytner Sunningdale BMW, Slimming World and Shine Again Ovens.
The event takes place from 10am-4pm and is free to attend for visitors, with car parking for the day £5 (cash only). To find out more about the event, please visit the Surrey Heath Show website.
