Great British Tennis Weekend – Sat 21st/Sun 22nd July

FREE access to all park courts all weekend

FREE coaching on Saturday 21st July @ London Road Recreation Ground, Camberley

To celebrate ‘Great British Tennis Weekend’, we are making all courts free to play (no bookings necessary) across the weekend of Sat 21st – Sun 22nd July, so dust off your racket and get on court! This is ahead of the launch of our new online booking system which comes into effect from Monday morning.

We are also delighted to be able to offer a range of free coaching and casual sessions at London Road Recreation Ground which will be delivered by our coaching partner, the National Tennis Association. Sessions will run throughout the day from 11am – 3pm and will cater for children from the age of 5 right up to adult and family sessions.

Sessions are bookable on a first come, first serve basis and can be reserved through our website www.surreyheath.gov.uk/tennisinthepark.

 

Camberley Theatre Beer Festival – Fri 20th/Sat 21st July

As you are hopefully aware our first ever beer festival takes place this Friday and Saturday with over 35 real ales and ciders, hog roast and live entertainment. Staff (and SHH partner) tickets are just £8.50 which includes a programme and a commemorative glass for you to keep. You can also pre-book your drinks tokens when you book too!

And of course there is also the Camberley Farmers' & Artisan Market this Sat 21st July from 10am until 3pm on Park Street. The monthly market hosts with a huge variety of street food, crafts and traditional local farmers' produce.

 

So in short - grab your tennis racket, pick up some nice cheese, and then reward yourself with a delicious beer or two. What a fabulous weekend!
