The extensive improvements at the playground in Loman Road, Mychett are now complete and the park is now open!
The exciting new facility features new swings including a viper rope swing, a pyramid net, toddler multi-play, balance beams, roty roundabout, seesaw and springers.
Councillor Helen Whitcroft, Mychett and Deepcut Ward, Surrey Heath Borough Council said; “I am absolutely delighted that the refurbishment of the playground has finally been completed. It looks fantastic and I hope local children will enjoy the new equipment. Many residents asked about the renovations and we were delighted by the response to the resident consultation. Enjoy!”
Councillor Paul Deach, Mychett and Deepcut Ward, Surrey Heath Borough Council said; "I am delighted that the play area has been updated and we have able to use funds from local development to be put back into the community in this way".
Unfortunately, due to the current lockdown, we cannot hold our usual official opening event. But we can share some pics of the great new facility, which looks amazing!
