Low Cost Ways to be Active

There are many opportunities to stay active on a budget in Surrey Heath. These include sessions put on by the council, sessions at local sport clubs and at Places Leisure in Camberley. There are also a variety of women’s only sessions and for different age ranges. Please see the full list below, which will be updated as and when new sessions begin!

Low Cost Exercise Sessions  

  • Tennis Courts: Pay & Play £5.75 an hour, Annual Membership £39 
  • Walking Football: £3 a session (Wednesday 13:00 – 14:30 @ Frimley Lodge Park)
  • Ramblers Walks: Free 
  • Aldershot & District Table Tennis: £3 (Tuesday 19:30 – 21:30 @ Collingwood College)
  • Sport Mind Badminton: Free (Monday 17:15 – 18:15 @ Places Leisure Camberley)

Low Cost Sessions at Places Leisure

  • Soft Play: Under 1’s £1, 1-3 £4.90, 4+ £6 (1 hour 15 minute sessions 9am – 6pm Sunday to Monday, 9am – 4:30pm Saturday)
  • Swimming & Disability Swim: £2.50 Carers go Free (12:15 – 13:15 Mondays, 12:30 – 13:30 Saturday)
  • Active Play & Bounce: £6 per child (1 hour 30 minute sessions 9:15 – 10:45 and 10:45 – 12:15 Monday and Thursday)
  • Roller Skating: £4 for 1 hour, £7.50 for 2 hours (9:15 – 10:15, 10:15 – 12:15, 17:45 – 19:45 on Saturdays)
  • Family Inflatable Fun: £6.50 per person (15:00 – 16:00 and 16:00 – 17:00 on Saturdays)
  • No Strings Badminton: £6 (20:15 – 22:15 Fridays)
  • Forever Active Classes: £6 (11:15 – 12:00 Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10:45 – 11:30 Thursdays)
  • Forever Active Badminton: £6 (10:15 – 11:15 and 11:15 – 12:15 Tuesdays and Fridays)
