What are the benefits of walking?
Walking can improve your health and by joining our group, it will give you the chance to explore the outdoors, get to know your local area and meet new people.

Do I need to book?
No, there is no need to book.
General Information
Location
Many of our walks are near public transport routes, but most may be more easily reached by private transport.
Timings
Please arrive on time, so the sign up can take place without delaying the walk.
Equipment
Bring suitable clothing and footwear to walk in. Walking routes are often wet and muddy in the autumn and winter.
Children
All children under the age of 16 must be with an adult on the walks.
Dogs
Dogs are not allowed.
Refreshments
No refreshments will be provided, but there may be chance to stop for refreshments either during or after walks at local venues.
Walking Grades
All walks have different grades:
- Gentle: For new walkers, unfit or recovering from injury or illness.
- Moderate: For regular walkers and those who are fairly fit.
- Challenging: For experienced walkers.
