Frimley Lodge Park

The new playground at Frimley Lodge Park opened after a £150k makeover in July 2019.

The play area design was developed through a public consultation involving park users, local schools and residents, and chosen via a public vote held by the Council at the end of last year.
Aimed at children up to age 14, it includes a wide variety of features including castle and keep-themed towers, racing zipwires, a sensory path, sandpit and various types of swing.
Inclusive play equipment includes a wheelchair swing, ground level roundabout and trampoline, sensory eco-rain wheel, play panels, tipi carousel, birds nest swing, home see-saw and DDA accessible stairs to the castle units.

Mytchett Skatepark

Following our recent public vote on the replacement skatepark at Mytchett Recreation Ground, the overwhelming winner was the 'Driveway' design in red and black.
Fearless Ramps are making the design as we speak, and it is due to be installed from 6 June 2022. The work on site should take around four weeks to complete.

Thanks to everyone who responded to our survey and we hope you enjoy the new skatepark!

For more information visit the Fearless Ramps website.

The play area at Mytchett Recreation Ground will remain open while the skatepark is replaced.

Alternative skateparks are located at Heatherside Recreation Ground and Crabtree Park, Camberley.

Old Dean Recreation Ground

We recommend visitors to the Old Dean playground travelling by car should park in the car park next to the Old Dean bowls club, postcode GU15 4AY, rather than on surrounding residential roads.
