Club Premises, Premises, Temporary Event & Personal Licence Fees

Fees for all Licensing Act, 2003 permissions have been set out by central government. The fees are based on the non-domestic rateable value (NDRV) of the premises. These are divided into 5 bands. Please note that fee for unsuccessful applications for Licences and Temporary Event Notices will not be refunded.

Fee for applications for new or variations to premises licences and club premises certificates where the premises are (a) in Band D or Band E and (b) are exclusively or primarily used for the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises, the fees are as follows:

Exemptions

There is an exemption from the payment of fee in relation to the provision of regulated entertainment at church halls, chapel halls or premises of a similar nature. Village halls, parish or community halls or other premises of a similar nature. If however, the licence also authorises the use of the premises for the supply of alcohol or the provision of late night refreshment, a fee will be required for those activities.
 
School and sixth form colleges are also exempt from the fees associated with the authorisation of regulated entertainment where the entertainment is provided by and at the school or college and for the purposes of the school or college.
