A wonderful event organised for families and adults to come and relax and listen to 7 different performing artists. Invite all your friends and family and then just chill. There will be a cake stall, tombola, refreshments, raffle, hot food and of course there is a licensed bar on site. Please do not bring your own alcohol, as the bar is reasonably priced and the community hall needs all of our support as well.
The community hall also has a little outside play area for young children and has a large grass area at the back which would be ideal for a knock around with a ball for children that need a run round or a break from the music.
Briar Dance Academy will be kicking the event off with songs from the Musicals and our very own local lady, Kayleigh Herzog will be singing songs from Disney. We then carry on with Western Sky, an Americana band, Mr Keith Mays from our local military, Chase 15 singing rock and ballads, Phoenix choir who are based at the Mytchett Centre will be giving us their versions of different songs and then Sneakin" Suspicion band will be closing the event with some wonderful lively covers to get us in the mood for dancing and singing along.
The charity is Little Narcies which is raising money to increase awareness of Narcolepsy and Cataplexy in young people and the affect it has on them in their education and home life. You can find the charity on www.littlenarcies.org. You can come along and enjoy the atmosphere for part of the time or you can enjoy partying late at night.
Please support this event, so that we can then consider making it an annual event. The people performing want an audience to clap, sing and dance along.
Tickets are £4 available from www.eventbrite.com/e/little-narcies-charity-music-festival-tickets-35180176856. Children under 12 free with a ticket. TIckets are £5 on event night on the door. If you do not have access to a computer or would prefer to purchase them personally, then please do email firstname.lastname@example.org and they will be happy to sort out some tickets for you.
Many thanks for your support. It is very much appreciated. Come on, let's rock Mytchett Centre.
