Voluntary Support North Surrey improves the lives of the people in the Boroughs of Surrey Heath and Runnymede by:
promoting voluntary work
supporting voluntary and community organisations
being a voice for the voluntary sector
identifying gaps in provision of services
We work with voluntary and community organisations, statutory agencies and the business community.
We offer free membership and many free services to local voluntary groups including funding advice, help with business planning, marketing, access to training and much more.
Voluntary Support North Surrey is a Council for Voluntary Service with integrated Volunteer Centres in Chertsey and Camberley. A Management Committee, comprising the Directors of the charity, direct the organisation and is elected annually in accordance with the constitution.
Voluntary Support North Surrey is an independent charity formed through the merger of Runnymede Association of Voluntary Services and Voluntary Services Surrey Heath in April 2013.
We are building a strong and diverse voluntary sector. We assist in the development of new organisations and services to meet local needs and are funded by the Borough Councils, Surrey County Council and Clinical Commissioning Groups.
