Mountain Biking

Image of a mountain biker There are many areas within and just outside Surrey Heath that offer mountain biking routes.

Swinley Forest is 2600 hectares of mainly scots pine woodland between Bracknell and Bagshot to the west of the A322. The land is owned and managed by The Crown Estate.

A permit is required to cycle on hard tracks and within a specific expert mountain bike area for cyclists over 16 years.

Permit Costs
Annual Permit = £20 (Valid from 1st April - 31st March)

Day Permit = £2
