Picture of a Dial-A-Ride VehicleSurrey Heath Borough Council's Community Transport provides a service for people of all ages who are mobility disadvantaged for any reason and cannot use public transport. Journeys to cover Doctor, Dentist and Hospital appointments, although can not be guaranteed, shopping, Day Centres, social activities, Clubs, Sports Centres, Church, etc.

No membership fee is charged but there is a subsidised fare calculated in zones.

There is a Booking Service between 1pm - 4pm in the afternoon before journey is required, Fridays for Mondays. Booking telephone number: 01276 707655 (Dial-a-Ride).

Clients must fill in a Registration Form before qualifying for this service.

Office open 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Completed and returned your form to:

or alternatively, please call 01276 707657 and request the leaflet and registration form describing the service.

Once we have received the completed registration form you will receive an acknowledgement and will be able to use the service. Passengers can travel anywhere in Surrey Heath, it is especially useful for getting to relatives, friends, shops, day centres, hospital and other appointments.

The fare charges are kept as low as possible and are calculated on a zonal basis, prices are available on application. To qualify for the cheaper rate fares you must have a concessionary travel permit, these are available from the councils main reception desk and are free of charge, although you will need proof of residency in the borough to obtain one.

The buses travel over 82,000 miles per year all round the Borough, providing a vital transport link for people who would otherwise be housebound.
