The Council's Service Strategy

Surrey Heath Borough Council manage & Control the use of the Council's Parking assets of 16 car parks with over 3000 Off-Street parking spaces, 550 On-Street Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) spaces and 30 spaces in the Frimley Road Special Parking Area (SPA). The major elements consist of:

• Operate and maintain the Pay on Foot and Pay & Display Parking Systems
• Enforcement of parking regulations and collection of penalty income
• Collection of cash and maintaining Audit and Statistical Information
• Maintenance of property and equipment
• Controlled Parking Zones

Parking Operations is a direct council service, staffed by council employees. A full range of parking services is provided, including:

• pay-on-foot parking in Multir-Storey car parks in Camberley (Main Square and Knoll Road)
• pay-and-display parking in surface car parks at Surrey Heath House (weekends only) and Yorktown.
• pay-and-display parking with first 2 hours free at Bagshot, Chobham, Burrell Road (Frimley) and Watchetts Road (Camberley)
• free parking at Wilton Road, Balmoral Drive, Whart Road, Woodend Road, Martindale Avenue, Guildford Road, Chobham Place Woods and Prior Road
• on street enforcement of all parking notifications, including yellow line and permit parking places
• dispensations and suspensions
• parking permits and season tickets
• penalty charge processing and appeals
