Pay on Foot Parking Facilities

During the Parking Service Best Value Review in 2000 a survey of the public showed that a user friendly easy to use parking system was required. To meet this aim the Council introduced the Pay on Foot parking systems in the Main Square and Knoll Road Car Parks on 1st April 2003.

Facilities include:

• Barrier entry & exit
• Pay before returning to vehicle
• Change provided at machines
• Charging for Blue badge holders in Pay on Foot car parks
• In Knoll Road Pay on Foot surface level parking available
• Intercom between all machines and Help Point
• Season Tickets available

How to use the Pay on Foot paying machines
