On Street - There are nine free spaces in the High Street, three in Southwell Park Road. In addition, blue badge holders can park on single and double yellow lines free, for up to three hours, except where loading restrictions apply.
Off-Street - Blue badge holders can park in Pay & Display car parks free of charge. New blue badge bays have been provided outside the Knoll Road Pay on Foot car park near the CAB offices.
Blue badge holders can park in the wider bays in the two Pay on Foot car parks but wil be subject to the standard charges.

Blue Badges
Parking concessions for people with severe mobility difficulties travelling as drivers or passengers are provided in the Blue Badge Scheme.
Spaces that are available under the scheme are clearly marked with the Blue symbol Dedicated disabled parking within Council car parks. The Blue Badge must be displayed in all car parks.

How to display the Blue Badge
Please remember, the Blue Badge must be correctly displayed with the wheel chair symbol, validation date and facing forward allowing those details to be clearly seen by a Parking Attendant together with the special blue pass to show the time of arrival.
- You must not display your Blue Badge with your photograph showing.
- Display the side with the disabled logo, the date of expiry and serial number of the issuing authority, visible from the outside of the vehicle.
Where Not to Park
- Permit holder only car parks.
- Loading, taxi and cycle bays.
- Pedestrian crossings including the zig-zag markings before and after these crossings.
- School 'Keep Clear' markings.
- Where there is a loading ban.
- Where it would make it difficult for others to see clearly e.g. close to a junction.
- Where it would hold up traffic e.g. in narrow stretches of road or blocking vehicle entrances.
