Our Services

The Surrey Heath Museum service includes:

• The provision and development of a representative collection for the Borough of Surrey Heath. (A copy of the Museum's Collecting Policy is available on request).
• A permanent display about the history and environment of the Borough.
• Exhibitions on subjects of local and regional interest.
• Travelling displays available for loan for local events, societies and educational groups.
• The provision of a schools service (leaflet available), and education provision for all age groups.
• An enquiry service on matters of local interest, including family and house history.
• Reference and browsing collections for local researchers, schools projects, and the interested general public.
• A programme of special events and demonstrations, including children's activities.
• The active development of a photographic collection for the Borough
• Liaison with a local heritage and visual arts groups within the Borough.
• A museum shop selling local history publications and souvenirs
• Talks for local groups and societies.
