Frimley Lodge Park
Frimley Lodge Park, officially opened to the public on 19th July 1988, is an excellent all round park, with beautiful, mature woodlands and wide open spaces. The Basingstoke Canal runs alongside the park, near to the miniature railway and Trim Trail.
The park's facilities include canalside and woodland walks, football and cricket, pitch-and-putt golf course and two children's play areas. There is a pavilion with cafeteria and there are several picnic sites with barbecue facilities.
The park has been awarded the prestigious Green Flag Award in recognition of the park's impressive standards of upkeep and facilities - one of 743 parks in England and Wales to achieve the accolade following assessment by The Civic Trust.
