Clinical Waste Collection

Surrey Heath Borough Council provides a service for the collection of clinical waste from domestic households and some chemists.

The service is provided free every Thursday when a contractor collects the clinical waste in special yellow bags or, in the case of sharps and needles, in a special yellow box.  The yellow bags and boxes are supplied free of charge and are delivered to new customers every Thursday.

Any resident who wishes to use this service may apply to the council, either by letter to the Environmental Services Department, or telephone 01276 707330.

If you wish to report a missed collection for clinical waste contact us by telephone on 01276 707330.  

If the service needs to be suspended temporarily please inform Environmental Services of dates for suspension and resumption.
