Emergency Alarm System
The ability to call for help, at the touch of a button, can provide many people who feel vulnerable with reassurance, a feeling of security and freedom from the worry of being isolated in a crisis. The Surrey Heath Helpline Scheme does just that, resulting in more people being able to live in the community, perhaps on their own, with greater confidence.
The 24 hours emergency alarm system gives immediate help to people who need assistance for a wide variety of reasons. Details available on request.

Community Alarm
Surrey Heath Borough Council's Helpline Community Alarm service has been re-launched with a series of roadshows across the borough, aimed at increasing awareness of the service among health professionals, social services and hospital care teams.
Specialised equipment now available from the Council includes sensors that alert the resident as a reminder to lock their door at night, medication prompting reminders and bed sensors that alert family or emergency services should the resident not return to bed after a pre-defined period.
