Registrations for this years Specsavers Surrey Youth Games are now closed. We hope that you are enjoying the training sessions!
The Surrey Youth Games aim to encourage young people (7-18) to develop their sporting skills, promote physical activity and encourage fair play in sport. Over 290 local young people enjoyed free coaching in the borough last year and it is hoped that many will have made the step to join a local club.
This year, the Specsavers Surrey Youth Games is once again being held at the Surrey Sports Park in Guildford on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th June. This year Woking Leisure Centre, operated by Freedom Leisure Centre in partnership with Woking Borough Council is also a host venue, so there really is something for everyone! We hope to see as many of those who took part last year returning as well as plenty more budding Surrey Heath representatives.
This year we have some of the most passionate and experienced coaches at great local clubs who without, the games would not be able to take place. Thank you to our fantastic clubs! Eikon, Lightwater Juniors, Swifts, Streets Heath, Turners Boxing Academy, Camberley Cricket Club, Camberley & Farnborough Hockey Club, Camberley Judo Club, Surrey Heath Netball Club, Camberley Tennis Club, and sponsors such as Places for People and Publicity Plus who provide continuous support to team Surrey Heath.
To be eligible for these sessions you must either live and/or go to school in Surrey Heath and be below county standard in the sport you want to take part in. All sessions are FREE to attend upon registration.
