Get Active 50+Do you or someone you know want to feel fitter and healthier, get out and meet new people? Then Get active 50+ For longer, healthier, happier lives, could be the answer. 

Surrey Heath Borough Council in partnership with Active Surrey and the Surrey County Council Public Health team has launched Get Active 50+ funded by Sport England in order to help engage those aged 50 and above in sport. 

The programme has been designed in order to have attractive sports and physical activities for both men and women as well as a range of different interests. The heavily discounted sports and physical activity on offer in Surrey Heath are:

Bowls

Our vibrant and friendly bowls clubs across Surrey Heath are extremely welcoming to new players and offer beginner classes for those new to the game. Clubs include Camberley, Camberley Indoor, Mytchett, Old Dean, West End and Windlesham Bowls Clubs. For contact details please see our Leisure Directory 

Swimming

The Arena Leisure Centre and Farnborough Fins are providing huge reductions on adult learn to swim classes. The classes are made up of a small groups so that everyone can learn a great skill whilst also meeting new people in a comfortable and supportive environment. 

Dance and Exercise

Dance and Exercise classes are being coordinated and run by Surrey Adult Learning for a social and inclusive method of improving and maintaining health and fitness. Learners can receive up to £40 discount on selected classes using the given discount code. For more details please click here
